This lecture and hands-on training course teaches the student advanced combination therapies utilizing both Microdermabrasion (MDA) and Chemexfoliation applications for accelerated results in pre-treated skins. Indications, contraindications and safety measures will also be addressed. Combined MDA therapy produces dual exfoliation, blending mechanical and chemical resurfacing, peeling the skin deeper than basic MDA. These techniques can be used on corporal (body ) skin areas and also for thicker, more seborrheic (oilier) skins, healed acne scars and deeper more wrinkled skin needing further collagen synthesis.
