American Laser & Aesthetics Institute is committed to providing students with a fair, transparent, and accessible process for resolving concerns or complaints regarding the school, its employees, policies, educational programs, services, facilities, or other school-related matters.
The school holds a Certificate of Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC School Number: S5672) and is licensed/regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR Cosmetology School License: 705452 | CE Provider: 2174 | Laser Programs).
The school will make a good-faith effort to resolve student complaints at the school level. Students will not be subject to retaliation for filing a good-faith complaint or grievance.

SCHOOL GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE

Students and former students should first attempt to resolve concerns directly with the school administration:
• Step 1 — Informal Resolution:
The student should first discuss the concern with the instructor, staff member, or department involved to reach an informal resolution.
• Step 2 — Written Grievance to the School Director:
If the concern is not resolved in Step 1, the student may submit a written grievance to the School Director containing:
- Full Name & Contact Information
- Program of Enrollment
- Detailed Description & Date of Incident
- Names of Individuals Involved & Previous Attempts to Resolve
- Requested Resolution & Supporting Documentation

• Step 3 — Written Appeal:
If dissatisfied with the School Director’s response, the student may submit a written appeal to the school’s designated final reviewer.

COMPLAINT TO THE TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION (TWC)
(For TWC-Approved Programs)

If a student enrolled in a TWC-approved program is dissatisfied with the school’s response or is unable to resolve the complaint through the school’s grievance procedure, the student may file a formal complaint with TWC using Form CSC-401A.
